Its glossy, golden grapes are strongly aromatic, giving the wine great elegance as a result of a combination of lime tree and citrus fruit aromas, as well as warm notes of brioche, beeswax and vanilla. Chardonnay is also a grape variety which keeps well, and so forms a large proportion of Taittinger's blends.
